Women on Women was a support group for lesbian, bisexual and transgender women in Norwich. The charity was established in 1996, and took over the local Lesbian Line helpline that began over a decade prior as well as running weekly drop-ins and a library of lesbian fiction.

Subject and Association DescriptionWomen on Women was a support group for lesbians, bisexual women and transgender women. The group was based in Norwich, and operated from 1996 - 2015. It was one of the first and only groups in the country to allow trans lesbians to attend its sessions, and it was also noteworthy for allowing bisexual women to attend. The group was founded at Norwich Arts Centre in 1996.

Credit Line"The Norfolk Heritage Centre’s collection of printed ephemera (some 67,000 individual items) offers a unique insight into the changing nature of everyday life in the east of England. These types of primary, uninterpreted documents were produced only for short-term use (they were never intended to be kept). The Norfolk LGBTQ+ Collection is comprised of ephemera (leaflets, posters, flyers), maps, magazines, books, badges, photographs, zines, amongst many other items telling local LGBTQ+ stories. The collection has been donated by local LGBTQ+ groups and individuals, including Norwich Pride and the Norfolk LGBT+ Project.
